WTP Pluit is owned by JAKPRO and operated under KSO treaty between Jakarta Utilitas Propertindo and Memiontec Indonesia. Constructed in 2016 and comissioned in 2018, WTP Pluit serves clean water to 1.6 million people in the Pluit area and its surroundings by producing 3000 m3 of clean water per day.
Memiontec Indonesia plays a big role in the development of the WTP Pluit project by designing water treatment systems, constructing the plant, and installing the control systems. Specifically to adapt with water source from Pluit Reservoir which just aside to coast of Jakarta.
Pluit Reservoir
The challenge is to regularly monitor and adjust the levels of additives used in accordance with seasonal changes in water source conditions. This is because the water in Pluit Reservoir tends to be brackish during the dry season and changes during high tide (ROB), as well as during the rainy season.
Solar Panel & Inverter System
In 2022, WTP Pluit implements a solar panel and inverter system to produce clean energy and utilize it as auxiliary power source for non-critical devices, to balance power consumption, and to monitor the performance of the plant and optimize its operation and efficiency.
